Hi! I'm Monique. I started Mini & Me about 10 years ago while I was a uni student. I originally made jewellery with a friend and sold bracelets and necklaces at markets. At high school I studied sewing and was always really interested in it and making my own things. From jewellery I moved into making hand sewn felt toys (and was not very good at it). Over the years i’ve perfected my craft and since 2021 i’ve expanded into machine sewn toys and now I am working on my first baby/childrens clothing and accessories line under the Mini & Me brand.

I live in Auckland with my partner Nick who has been there since the start of Mini & Me. We have two crazy burmese cats called Frankie and Marcel. During the week I work in an advertising agency as a Senior Account Director. I am surrounded by talented creative people daily and Mini & Me is a creative outlet for me.

Mini & Me uniquely handcrafts animal fabric dolls from bunnies to unicorns. Each piece is crafted in limited amounts and intended to be cherished for years. We also offer a range of baby accessories to coordinate, crafted from vibrant and pastel textiles - gingham is a favorite at Mini & Me!
